Giant Beaver Dam (Start)

A satellite image of the remains of a giant beaver dam, located north of Whatì.

The remains of the beaver dam. The giant beaver started to build the dam across Lac la Martre but the giant chased it all the way to Behchokǫ̀. Where he was caught and the beaver bladder was removed. That is why the water is not clear near Behchokǫ̀. The water is fresh and clean to drink.
